Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
This and the sequel, Alice’s Adventures Through the Looking Glass are on my list of 1001 books to read, and as luck may have it, I am taking a class on Lewis Carroll this semester, so have just finished the first book. I expected it to be completely different from the Disney movie, because it’s more of an episodic tale than one with much of a continuous plot, or so I’d heard.
